Rusya Sanayi ve Ticaret Bakanı Denis Manturov, Toyota’nın St. Petersburg’daki eski fabrikasında Rus Aurus marka araçların üretileceğini belirtti. Aurus Rusya Devlet Başkanı Vladimir Putin’in limuzini ve üst düzey yetkililerin tercih ettiği lüks araçları üretiyor.
Manturov, TASS haber ajansına yaptığı açıklamada, Mart 2023’te NAMI adlı Rus devlet enstitüsüne devredilen Toyota fabrikasına ilişkin konuştu.Fabrikanın Aurus şirketine devredildiğini belirten Manturov, fabrikada araç üretiminin yıl sonuna kadar başlayacağını ifade etti.Toyota, Rusya-Ukrayna Savaşı nedeniyle 2022’de St. Petersburg’daki fabrikasında üretimi durdurma kararı almış, ardından fabrika NAMI’ye devredilmişti.Rusya Otomobil Satıcıları Birliği verilerine göre, Rusya’da geçen yıl 115 adet Aurus marka araç satılmıştı.Rusya Devlet Başkanı Vladimir Putin ve üst düzey yetkililerin tercih ettiği Aurus, ürettiği lüks araçlarla tanınıyor.
